which is too large for the info to be read,

Cant help to much with the small ones (lol) but for the ones that seem to large, just right click your mouse on the picture and select "view image" and you will see the whole card/greenshot

    :) woo hoo

    EDIT

Just tried it with the small pictures as well and it works, brings them back up to original size I think.... woo hooo problem solved :))))

Ruud; there's a few options open. Use the leaderboard to see which players need rounds but someone can also mark for you if they've already played that round already.

You can also use the IRC chat room to see if anyone's looking for a round and send FR's to people who are online at the same time as yourself using the list of registered players link (all links are in the first post to this thread).

If this doesn't happen it goes warning (1 posting error), 2 shot penalty (2 posting errors), DNF (3 posting errors).

Jim - are warnings/penalties carried forward each week or does a new week wipe out any previous mis-posts?  If they are carried forward I can see a lot of penalties being dished out.  For those of us who aren't used to this taking of screenshots, it is very easy to click past the point of no return; after all, we're focusing on the game and trying to post the best score we can.  Like I said in my post after 2nd round, Rosey and I were saying just before taking our approach shots on #18 that we needed to take screenshot... and still I forgot!  I even had it written on a piece of paper where I could see it, and that didn't help either.  I know in real golf one has to check and sign a scorecard, but that is done after the game has finished and you have time to think about it.

I totally agree that the vetting is needed, I'm just wondering if there is a different (easier) way of doing it.  Is there something we can ask WGT to put in place for us?

5 consecutive "correct" rounds wipes out an incorrect one Mio.

What I don't want players to be able "game" the rules. If it was three rounds for instance, you could easily get away with not posting your greenshot nearly once per tournament. In an event where there's an equipment restriction, this'd lead to mass cries of cheating if someone came in with a suspiciously low score yet no screenshot.

Some rules are open to adjustment but I want to see how this runs through over the first month. I know there are going to be innocent victims (I nearly forgot to take the shot myself yesterday) who are going to get penalised but if this stops others from trying to take advantage of the rules, then it's the route that I'd prefer to take.

Key point Mio is that everyone's aware of the rules and the punishments that come from not following them (if a player doesn't want to read the rule document then that's their own choice). I've set out a structure for the tour to try to make it fair to all players. We'll see how effective it is later in the season.

Re WGT helping out; the suggestion of going back to the lobby for the 5 minute wait has been around for eons. I know Icon posted that this was in their "to do" list so hopefully it'll come into effect during the tour and will help to avoid the disco rule.

The only other thing they could do is to have a "take screenshot" image appear on screen on the last putt / scorecard page. This would act as a reminder to all players that it needs to be done. Do I see this happening.....ummmm no ;)

Thanks Jim, totally understand about the rules.  I can see myself falling foul of the posting rule a few times.  But I'll try my best to remember.

TBH Mio, I probably will as well ;)

All I can suggest is using a post-it and putting it on the screen at the beginning of the last hole. It's harder to miss than the same thing written on a piece of paper on your desk.

Round 1 for Jimbean346 & Kriztjan....great company from Kriz and my irons were on fire to bring me home with a 27. Kriz's game wasn't to his usual standard and came in with a 30. Highlight of the round was an eagle on 9 for myself with my first ever successful "cart path" bounce shot. Green pic shows where I ended up.
