Whether you hit a great shot or a very bad one, there is but one rule that applies here,..

take it on the chin & hit it again..  put this to work for you, and try to remember  it, because failure only happens when you give up.. my friends, gOOdgOlfin'2Ya!

    easier said than done,
human psychology is a female dog (gee, thanks WGT's thought police),
and golf, if more than anything, is a psychological game first and foremost

Well Gmaster, I'd rather go forward than backwards, and looking to exploit my statement is just that, backwards.

I usually don't get too bothered when I hit a bad shot. It just challenges me to try to come back from a bad shot or hole or couple of holes. No doubt sometimes feelings do get the better of you though. But all in all I just hit it and hit it again... It is after all, just a game.

Missing shots is what keeps us all coming back for more, no?

If we made every shot, every time, this place would be a ghost town.

Well I do apologize for telling it like it is,
it's much more fun spreading inspiring clichés I'm sure.

fact of the matter IS, it's easier said than done,
that is certainly not saying it's impossible to do,
only that it's hard, and takes some working on one's self, and mental disciplines.

Well said!   You can't undo your last shot, but you  can certainly focus on your next shot.

This past friday, I started off the front 9 (IRL) with a triple bogey, ( damn water)  but parred all holes but one on my way to the 9th.  It actually is possible to lose a ball that you hit in a fairway ;-).    Guess that's what I get for hitting the ding in real life lol.

What I say or write has nothing to do with spreading cliches for WGT, I simply find the game worth playing, As for those who feel otherwise, thats fine, being different is what makes each player different, but positive thinking has long out-weighed negative thinking when golf is the subject matter.Mental discipline, it is only used to better ones self, yes? , well the same can be said about taking it on the chin & hitting again. What ever you say now,in answer, are your views, so I'll take that on the chin too...and wish you gOOdgOlfin'
