I read that WGT reply thread and it made absolutely no sense at all...lol!     Sorry, but looks to me like these so-called tier based tourneys are really nothing more than a battle of the sandbaggars.     Look at the leaderbooard for Wk 17 unlimited at St Andys.     Disregard the Master Tier, they play legitimately.     Look at the Hack Tier and tell me with a straight face that a Hack can shoot a 32 at St. Andy's.   Hell, the top 20 guys shot 34 or better...... and it doesn't get any better with the Amateur and Pro Tiers......sand bagging heaven....lol!!!     It's a joke.     And it all starts with WGT not putting these people in the correct Tier.     There should not be any other criteria other than a player's score to determine an average and Tier.     It is that simple.     So, I'll stick with my ranked rounds and closest to the hole challenges and leave the Sandbaggars to battle it out for all the prestige and accolades of winning a tourney by cheating....lol!

acey, those hacks shooting 32 are multiple account holders. Just record all your ranked rounds, don't cherry pick the rounds you like, and you'll progress through the tiers with natural ability, and most likely be ready for the master tier.

The only thing an average is for, is moving through the tiers, but like Snaike said, there are other factors involved in this process. If someone wants to look cool with a 59 average with only 50, or 75 ranked rounds, then their cherry picking their rounds.

Or pounding out rounds at the sinfully easy SA.

Exactly Jim. It's an easy 32 there or better, that's for sure.

That might be a good idea.I shot a 62 in the week 16 KW and I raked in a whole 17.5 cents. The last time I looked at the leaderboard I was somewhere around 12th place.I'm not saying it's a rip or nothing,I'm just saying they can only being doing it for bragging rights.Bragging to who ,I don't know ,but I guess some people might not know about sandbagging.

For all we know tier based tourneys carry more weight than a plain ole ranked round.  Its possible for a hack or amateur to shoot 32 once, but if they are there every tourney, then they need to be bumped.  The whole 17.5 credits earnings thing isn't much but week in and out can affect other players, especially the guys who cant do the pay for play tourneys, but if they are doing in the free weekly, they probably do it in credit entry based tourneys as well..  It should be easy to determine who these players are, its probably simple for them to do, pay for play tourney average vs free tourney average vs non-tourney average, figure for a standard deviation of X amount of shots, if the player does better than that amount of shots, they get bumped up.

It certainly means something if we want to advance a tier.  As for having an idea how another players actual game is.  It means nothing
