Sure your welcome 7thwave. In fact your just the kind of player I was thinking of.

And Dazza .. a "dream team" would be great ... but I understand that some players have commitments to their country clubs and might choose to not participate. However there are hundreds of excellent Legends (just look at Genorb's list) who can give these guys a great challenge, guys or gals who would love to get a piece of Bollox, or Jake or AvatarLee --- or at least take measure of their game against them. I think we can have some fun and have a lot of excellent matchups. Hopefully we'll get some more players stepping up. We're in no rush.

I'll be happy to play Captain for this, I'm certainly not in the playing league of those mentioned.

Lou and I can have a "Captains Grudge Match" though. We have played a few good matches in the past.

Let's let this thread run, then I'll put together a team and in the mean time make contact with a few other players as well.

As I am not in any CC and there isn't anyone speaking out for me, I'd like to offer up my services to any team put together.

Appreciate the kinds comments from Lou and Don, but i believe that a dream team from WGT should be assembled for this. I hardly consider myself anywhere near the best of the best players on WGT. So I will gracefully withdraw from this event. I would love to see the best of best play the fine players from the Dev's and see the results. Go dream team. By the way a great idea here by the Dev's.

How about a MP knock out tournament open to all (or invitational) and those who reach the final 32 make the WGT All-Star team?

The team WGT All-Star Captain then decides the pairings for each round of the tournament vs. Deviations

I would happily help organize the tournament, MB would make a fine captain.

Tiffer, I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are one of the game's best and you can compete against (and beat) anyone on any given day.

I think WGT All-Stars vs. Deviations "A" Team would be a great battle.

I'm not nearly good enough to play at that level, but I would love to play a supporting role in organizing or facilitating the tournament. Please let me know if there's anything I can do.
