What does it take for me to achieve this? Happy Father's Day by the way!

Well, first of all, find your nearest college with adult classes.  Then enrol in the English class.  Whilst there, be sure to let them know that you need to learn how to spell.  Once you've passed that course it should be a doddle to move to AMATEUR.

PS  Looks like the (American) dictionary in the spell check used here doesn't know how to spell either; 'enrol' is underlined in red, presumably wanting (incorrectly I hasten to add!) another L on the end.

Oh, and you need 5 ranked stroke play rounds of less than 100 I think.

Maybe 100 isn't the magic figure, maybe it's 90, in which case Blondie only has 2 qualifying rounds.

find a recent hack to "amature" convert that has played more than 5 rounds and it's quite easy to work out

search amateurs on the community page

the first person on the list played 9 rounds at hack before advancing

sum of best 5           wgt average

    5th round                480                        96

    6th round                470                        94

    7th round                464                        92.8

    8th round                458                        91.6

    9th round                446                        89.2

10th round is played at amateur

so it's safe to assume that the required average to tier up to amateur is 90

Yea that makes sense thank you a lot for that information. That is exactly what I was looking for.
