I do not know if the proposition I made above will be followed, but just in case, here is my list.

Of course, we could send our list via private message to the captain. But I personally don't like this. I like transparent process. By posting the lists here, everybody can check that everything is fine.

On one side, players who qualified should be brave enough to post publicly their list and on the other side, all other players should be reasonable enough to accept those lists.

But that's a very delicate exercice of course. I looked at the profiles and score history of each possible players (among the 48 players who played the qualifier and few others). So I tried to be objective, which is never completely possible. For those who are not in this list, be sure that there is nothing personnal. I just tried to pick up players following some objective criteria. Now I do not pretend that those criteria were the most relevant...

Players who didn't play the qualifier are in parenthesis. So my list contains more than 5 players, but there are 5 players from the 48 players who played the qualifier. If we decide to propose names only among the 48 players, then you just need to remove players whose name are in parenthesis.

I agree with Fabian of letting the Team choose the remain 3 slots.

If that is the case then my list is posted below. I am going to limit my selections to just the people that were among the 48 chosen of course as Fabian listed there are many great players that are deserving.

    Kriztjan

    villadeoro

    LuisCraveiro

    Agassi1991

    cyl6

Just picking 5 from the list was tough and if considering all the people not on the list it is insanely hard.  Didn't show any bias in choosing as 60% of my list I have never played a round with.

Because i don;t know if the other top players are available to play - some of them rejected first invitation, or haven't played recently (like Nmart for ex.) or has some problems (like Courtney), my selections is from 48 too.

    2. JCOlson

    3. Aahna

    4. Cyl6

    5. LuisCraveiro

I tried to pick players who play often match or alt. games and who play much in these days.

Kriztjan smoked me at Oakmont a few months ago, he definitely deserves a shot and Luis Craveiro HAS to go in there, he is as solid as a rock. Heck I'll even give up my place if neither of those two get in!

I think it is the captain of the All Stars team to decide who the 4 players are to play the Devs. Probably he has already made his mind about it.

I do not think is fair to invite again players who lost in the qualifying procces, there are tens of top players who did not participate in the qualifying who would be glad to play the devs....lets be fair.

There is one particular player who I think deserves to be included; "elvinomepego" (Walter). He has NOT lost any important Match tournament EVER!

The other 3 is the captain desicion.

    Cheers, Eric

these are all guy's who i have played with at least once, so that's why i found it tricky to choose some-one who I know very little of. For this reason I'd personally like the 2 captains to choose all 4 remaining players...but here we are

    top 5 who entered

    1. JC

    2. Kriz

    3. MRDYB

    4.Luis C

    5. AAHNA

    top 5 who didnt enter

    1. Elvinomepego

    2.Dianne (if she's around)

    3.Simo

    4.funkyjunkie

    5.Jimbean

I would agree if the captain was elected like for the ryder cup. Here that's clearly different. Democracy is a good system I think. So I think the team members should select the remaining spots.

Hey Fabian, It is stated in the first post that the Captain was going to choose the last 4 spots.

Fair enough, this party should be for everyone who possible can give a good match to the Devs. People who lost in the first or second round well they have already lost....for any good or bad named reason. What Captains are for?? are we also going to match the pars to be played?, again, that's the captains decision.

Well, no need to discuss about this Fabian, whoever plays the Devs is suppose to be good enough to give them a good match and ....beat them, lol.

    GET THE DEVS ALL STARTS!!!!

    Hi Eric,

    LOLserver:

Hey Fabian, It is stated in the first post that the Captain was going to choose the last 4 spots.

I know but I never said I was in agreement with that :) . Moreover the captain wrote in his last post "If the current All Stars would let me know here (and we can tally it in public) who they feel should be here as well...we can use a majority vote."

So he also proposes a majority vote, which is the best system. It avoids big bias. There will be some bias for each list from the team members (that's unavoidable) but they will more or less compensate because there is no collusion between the team members. So the overall bias should be very small.

The 3-4 players selected this way will be the players who look the best for the 12 already qualified with very little bias due to personal feeling/friendship etc.

    Regards
