I just played my match against KyRock who is one of my oldest wgt buddies. After pushing the first couple holes I managed to get it 2 up on 8 tee. Rock won 8 and 9 to square the match up at the turn.
The back stayed pretty even, I got 1 up as did Rock, but we were all square on 17 tee. Both of us punched out of the rough for our second shots. I came up short of the green and Rock punched up to 15 feet. He drained a nice putt to go 1 up heading into 18. On our approaches to 18, I came short, on top of the ridge and Rock played a veteran shot to about 17 feet behind the hole, right. I missed and Rock made winning the match 2 up. Good play Rock and always a pleasure my friend. Good luck the rest of the tournament.
