It also said round 2 started on the 21st, and both rounds are not played at the same time.

    Cheers,

"They should honor what they advertise."

Good luck with that.  Don't know if any of you noticed, having qualified, but qualifying said it lasted  - 6/18 too, but cut off at 12 Midnight PST (3 AM 6/18 EST).  They did the same thing last year with the British Open, and I'm still waiting for them to "honor what they advertised" and give me my last day for qualifying, but as the Open has been over for nearly a year, I'm thinking they won't do it.

Whereas the rest of the world would write 6/18-6/21 to mean June 18th through June 21st, WGT writes it to mean June 18th until the start of June 21st.

The funny thing is that I complained about this last year, including sending WGT an e-mail about the situation, and they did nothing to fix it.  While I am sorry that some missed their chance to play in an Open that they had qualified in due to WGT ignorance, I am laughing that WGT chose to just leave it and it has now burned others.

They have a countdown timer on the 'play now' screens for Country Club tourneys, one would think it would be pretty simple to do the same throughout the rest of the game... sure would go a long way towards eliminating this type of confusion. Though I was no where near qualifying myself, I do feel bad for those who have the skill and put in the time to qualify only to miss out on a chance at their day in the sun. Through the 21st should be THROUGH the 21st.

Nobody said they can be played at the same time. The deadline could easily have been noon on the 21st with second round to commence after noon. They have made a mistake and it's not the 1st time, so what are they going to do about it?

I accept that I've missed out this time but it would be nice to know that they aren't going to make this mistake yet again in the future

    Splendid idea

What a shame. I was wondering what on earth is going on with 28 qualifiers not posting scores. I nearly started a rant thread about not honoring their commitment while a whole lot of players qualified just 1 stroke off the line. I suppose some WD'd their rounds but now it could be explained as misunderstanding the round 1dates.

Just a damn shame for some of those that made the qualifying.

You're saying they've made mistakes before and haven't learned a thing?

Yes, always to do with what's on the menu screen:

    More troubled qualifiers.(link)
