Let ask for a WGT CLOCK in the Main WGT page!

with that there will be no more time problem, time will be WGT time.... and give every advertisement not only date but also time (WGT TIME)

I saw it in the USOPEN web page last week the time presented, local and my PC time, that was great, I was able to set up my schedule to see interesting players.

    b0geybuster:

It also said round 2 started on the 21st, and both rounds are not played at the same time.

    Cheers,

    b0gey

Also all current monthly tournaments dates are "Jun 01 - Jul 01"

    Minkywinkster:
Nobody said they can be played at the same time. The deadline could easily have been noon on the 21st with second round to commence after noon. They have made a mistake and it's not the 1st time, so what are they going to do about it?

I know this sucks, but unfortunately it did exactly that for you in your timezone and mine as well, but not those specific times.  Round 1 ended on the 21st and round 2 started 1 hour later on the 21st.

All tournament times frames in the game client are time zone specific....

    Cheers,

    b0gey

This thread has been going for 61/2 hours.....now im not even in the open but feel sorry for you guys that have been wgt'd...whats worse is that any of the plethera of wgt mods havnt come on and said anything about it.Perhaps they are thinking up a subtle answer for you.Hope this reaches a satisfactory conclusion for all concerned.

As regards the slow greens...just get on with it !

That's brutal. My condolences to minky and courtney, both are good enough to win.

Someone from WGT needs to reply in here with regards to whatever their stance is or is going to be.

I didn't realise US folks were shown Jun18 - Jun20 on their screen like that screenshot of Jeff's...cause here in UK we see Jun18 - Jun21

Sorry folks but whichever way you look at it....it is misleading to say the least.

I think the last time anyone got something so wrong was when Neville Chamberlain walked down the stairs off the plane in September 1938 waving the Munich Treaty signed with Hitler claiming "Peace in our time!".

The way I read things is that here in UK we get a further 7 hours on the cut off time due to GMT = PST +7 hrs.

Therefore both US & UK plus other countries for that matter should have been shown Jun18 - Jun20 because we (UK Players) know we've got an extra 7 hours after the PST cut off time...other countries will know their time difference v PST too.

To show two conflicting dates is a faux pas.

slow greens for an open lol.......

should turn it into a game of darts.

You reckon, i've had 5 foot putts hit with OVER 8 foot of power stop before the hole as if my ball had formula 1 brakes.

when you are so used to reading breaks through tournament/championship speed, slow greens are like starting from scratch again.  Breaks dont work the same as you have to hit ball harder, so it leaves club faster, ignoring breaks yet slows down quickly too, and even though you think you've hit the putt with ample power, it may stop an inch before hole.  Easy to 3 putt on slow greens .LOL

and you opening yr mouth just gives everyone else in the tournament, reading this an advantage cos now they know what to expect so the element of surprise has gone for them. Nice one, sherlock!

It wasn't even Chris who first mentioned about slow greens....me neither for that matter. Regardless of that...it would always have got out anyway.

Anyone with 1/2 a brain going into round 2 with a few days left before they need to play their final round can simply hit "play now" and select Olympic...Practise Mode...Slow Greens and Heavy Winds,

This would not have been possible had it been kept to championship greens.

Putting on the treacle greens will be  like trying to kick a ball 100yrds with both shoe laces tied together.

Chris likes to have his say of sorts :)

The wind speed and green speed is shown before you tee off in Tournament Rounds. Remembering to look at it is another matter.  It's which tee box that always catches me off guard unless I take the time to look at the first hole distance and compare it with the description page.
