is there a way to adjust your email notifications so you don't get spammed every time you play? i checked in player profile as well as account setup but didnt see a spot for it. (although i could have overlooked it)

I don't understand your problem.  If you are receiving emails it is nothing to do with this programme but your email programme on your computer.  Turn it off!!!

    Madcow,

At the moment, there is no way to stop tournament notifications emails, but we plan to allow for more user control over those settings in the future.

Gents ... having played over 750 Ready Go's ... you can imagine the number of e-mails I was getting from WGT.    Here is a work around that is excellent for me.

Create another e-mail account on Yahoo or somewhere and change your e-mail in your WGT profile to the new one.   Then all the annoying WGT e-mails go to that mailbox and won't junk up your regular one.     Just have to remember once a month or so to go clear out the 600 messages from WGT.

Or, if you will allow something a bit cleaner, simply filter all tourney emails to a separate folder.

I have set up all incoming WGT emails to filter from my main email to a secondary one, so I don't have to inform WGT of a new addy.... And I don't have to see WGT emails until I want to...

I'm bumping this thread up as Admin said they were going to work on this, turning off email notifications is a pretty standard function, is there any way to achieve that on here, I receive far too many emails from WGT.

wgt say they are going to do a lot of things but they only seem interested in adding new things that can make them money. they have never showen any interest in the complaints of the users of the site.

is it not against the law to send unwanted emails the way they do? there must be some place you can report them to
