Since we have to take into
consideration the different ground condition of the course it should
be possible to "fly" over the course, or at least get more pictures
from the course when we set the aim to our target.
You sometimes put rough out where we
expect fairway. But because we have no way to figure that out we can
not take that into consideration when we set our target. Result is
that we sometimes pass the rough and sometimes not, so we get very
different distance with what we think is identical shots.
Some examples are #3, #4 and #8 on Bali
Hai.
If
we could see detailed picture of ground condition, at least the last
1/3 of the holes, maybe we can figure out how to play these holes.
The part of the stroke where the ball is rolling is of course most important.
