To resurrect this thread, I thought I made my case quite clearly in the OP.
I holed on a CTTH last night, of course it's not on my score history as all the opponents quit as soon as it happens.
You might find it rare as the quit issue probably removes a lot of the scores from records.
I also scored 533,000 in a game a few weeks back, which again is silly. 8 shots under 10ft, holed the 9th - that one is in my record as the other players had never seen such an absurdly high score (me either). Maximum accuracy bonus, maximum greens hit plus a hole out.
Pin strikes and hole outs happen often enough for them to be an issue.
Please keep bonuses, but please reduce them to a level that means the player has to continue with some reasonable degree of play to win the game. As it stands now a hole out is an immediate game stopper. A pin strike is the equivalent of 2.5 perfect shots (25,000 points).
They are disproportionately large, reduce them please.
