    MisterWGT:

    so a setting such as "Tournament" will span a 1.0 stimp range (i.e. 12.0 - 13.0)

    By extension, (and using WGTAdmin's values as the mid-point of the 1.0 range):

    Standard = 7.50 to 8.49 on the stimpmeter

    Fast = 8.50 to 9.49

    Very Fast = 9.50 to 10.49

    TM Tournament = 10.50 to 11.49

    Legend Tournament = 11.50 to 12.49

    Championship = 12.50 to 13.49

    MisterWGT:
    but when we setup the tournaments... we set them to even values (so 12.0 or 13.0 rather than 12.4)

    So logically:

    Standard = 8.0

    Fast = 9.0

    Very Fast = 10.0

    TM Tournament = 11.0

    Legend Tournament = 12.0

    Championship = 13.0

    Which provides us with two distinctly different tournament green speeds.  The explanation (or lack thereof), is nothing but smoke and mirrors.

    After reading all your input.the logical way 4ward is to give us the Stimp..Then WE will work out the variations from there on in no..??

    Yes. It would simplify everything. Then those that are hung up on labels will be happy, too.

    WGT lack of response tales it all doesn't it. They promised more transparency about

    communication. And look what we receive. I hear the crickets, and owl's as you read this.

    Ref:  For your enlightenment I never use Wikipedia.  To much of it is unfounded, and unreliable garbage.  With my 11 1/2 years of shooling.  It is to difficult to sift out the real vs the garbage.

    You should have finished that last 1/2 year of shool.   ;o)

    Fuggettabout Wikipedia....this one has all the answers.

    Here is my question..

    If you are playing in a CC tourney and the green speed says "Tournament", how are we to know if the speed is TM speed, or Legend speed?

    By trial & error.
