Something that has been raised before...Sounds like a good idea, but also lets not shoot the messenger...

People feel agrieved as they don't get a chance to test out clubs they might want to buy.

    However...

    1. Is there a Pro shop in he world willing to let you take a club onto the range or even the course before buying it?

    2. Is there a practice net here at WGT like you would find at most Pro shops?

    3. Is there a free rental day at any Pro shop in the world?

-Think carefully and think about real vs virtual...it's kind of a fair deal.

I personally have alot of clubs sitting in my garage which I have upgraded over the years in real life. Mainly because newer/better ones have come out, and sometimes because after testing them at the nets in the shop I don't get the same resluts in the field. But this is never considered unfair in real life. Yes it IS expensive, but such is the game of golf...Do not counter argue this with how golf should be...In reality...This is what golf is...A fairly expensive hobby.

Further to this...We're sitting at a keyboard, it comes with a mouse. Not quite the normal routine of getting the bag in the car, arranging before hand for tee times, making arrangemnet's with mates to play with....Getting to the course, and walking the 6000+ yards of a real course. This obviously excludes the fee's of paying a living breathing golf course.

Play Kiawah for real 10 times a week and you would be out about $2000 through green fee's, balls, petrol, carts/caddies...Lets not even mention how much money you lost at the office through lck of presence.

Finally...I am not just playing the "WGT is so awesome card", But...A game developer has to eat too. Yes it is a game, but it is a business too. It's not national health care, it is a hobby...If they charge X amount for a particular product, you don't actually HAVE to buy it.

Hmm, I've read about 3 posts about this now and have wrapped all my thoughts into this one...

I enjoy golf alot...It seems you do too... I'd be more than happy to hear about and maybe help with your clubs. Please accept my small gift as an apology for hijacking your post.
