My problem with Awards

  First off, great job guys and before I add to the list of upcoming updates I want to say amazing job we love the game.

   

  That said, this latest upgrade really has me surprised.  When i start a round I am bombarded by awards!  Down the drain, green thumb, etc... 5 at a time! 

  It's frustrating.  I want to earn an award over time, not be thrown a bunch.  Am I missing something?

  Is it because I am Master level and I am "retro" winning a bunch?

   

  Please advise.

  That's correct.  All but 4 of the new awards (In the Cup, Long Haul, Short Haul & Straight Shooter) were retroactively applied.

  Which begs me to ask WGTniv, why weren't those awards?

  There were already stats in place to represent certain awards before the update.  For example, total rounds and total pars has been calculated on your profile since Day 1, so it was rather easy to just grab those stats off your profile.  However, the separation between 9-hole and 18-hole rounds wasn't a recorded stat until this update.

  Basically there wasn't a stat already in place for anything that wasn't retroactive.
