A competitors' caddy sabotaged my bag and

loaded "trick" golf balls into my bag before the

    St Andrews Tournament Single Play.

Only prizes for the top 10 again.

No use to the average joe's who can shoot good scores but not good enough for the top 10.

    Won't be playing

    Always worth a go!

It's off the easy tee's so hope your not put off by the early low scores..get a decent wind set and you'll do rightly

Don't understand why they have give is only 1 day each to play rd 2 and rd 3, especially as it's the weekend. Would have preferred to see each round spread out throughout the week, maybe 2 or 3 days for each round. Going to be a struggle for me to get rd 2 played unless they have it open right and early in morn

well it has the effect of running parallel with the open.... the 1st round is longer presumably to give people enough chance to log in and realise that there is a tournament

It's hardly running parallel with open if it started on monday. It's ok having round 1 longer, but to have 1 round 5 days and the other 2 rounds just 1 day, it doesnt make sense to me. I personally would have liked to see rd 1 mon til wed, rd 2 thurs and fri, then the final round over the weekend. I'm sure WGT has their reasons but I reckon it could be a struggle for alot of guy's to be online both sat n sun.

the 2 rounds after the cut are running parallel with the cut of the open, which is their way of compensating for there being no virtual open.

there is obviously just the one round prior to the cut line ... as you'd expect with wgt.... this tournament appeared pretty much out of nowhere. the extra time allowed for round 1 allows for the possibility of more people finding out about it and having the chance to participate.

not online sat and sun ???

most "golfers" will spend much of the weekend glued to the TV and so will be able to play on line at the same time. just a shame we can't play royal lytham while watching on TV at the same time.

it's got to be better than an unlimited championship eh?

a lot of folks asked for single play and we've got 3 single plays.

    many thanks WGT

I agree TBE. A week of single play round qualifying and the 2 weekend single play rounds.
