I am undecided on what irons to buy, any suggestions, I am thinking of buying the level 79 Taylor Made 2.0 burner or the level 83 Ping G20 Irons. I looked through some recommendations one legend Player says the G20 doesn't improve His game so he is back to the Taylor Made 2.0 Iron set. Seriously don't know what to buy.

The Burners will hold the greens better..at the cost of a faster swing meter...a scooch faster than your wedges.

The pings will have a slower meter..similar to your woods.

Trust me, even the pings will improve your game over starter clubs;)

Go for the lvl Burners, fast meter yes but u find them very quick. G20 ok but not that good . The burners are the best way for u lol. Thats my opinion

I was in your situation at one time. Buy the TaylorMade Burner 2.0s. You won't ever turn back. They are the next best irons before the R11s. What I did was sell my old iron set therefore I couldn't chicken out and go back to them. You will be forced to learn the quicker meter. I love em'!

good words to live by right there.  Whenever I buy new clubs, I always sell my old ones.  This forces me to learn the new ones.  99% of the time, I have been completely happy with the new ones.

I play the R11s and think that, chime for chime, they give the best performance. That being said, I bought the full G20 set and love playing with them. It's a more relaxed game. Like any clubs, you have to spend some time getting to know them. The 3I plays longer than it says so the gap between the 3I and 3W is not as big as it seems. I have had a number of sub 60 rounds with the G20s, so you can certainly go low with them. I have a 58.37 average and think these 2 sets are the best WGT has to offer.

    The R11s driver is unbeatable.

    Good luck!
