Brilliant, just wasted my time marking for Aust10. Lost a brand new ball in the process due to a jumpy meter. AAhh well. He said there were 2hours left. easy mistake to make. he was an Aussie so maybe got confused about the time and when it was due to expire..

    Here is his scorecard nonetheless

Sorry Aust10 didnt mean to say I wasted time playing with you.

Tour standings has been updated but LuisCraveiro can jump to 2nd in the table and would sit less than three points behind AllyKennedy at the top. Kurtsbuford is sure to jump into the top 25 irrespective of whether he wins or comes runner-up.

The top 5 players are starting to build a small gap between them and the rest of the WGF players but with another major to come next week, that can quickly be eroded.

We now have in excess of 70 players who have ranking points for the season. This means that the matchplay event will be fully seeded without having to take places by ballot. Still lots of time to go until that event but keep fighting for those tour points to give yourself as strong a seeding position as possible.

Sudden death playoff hole 10, Luis has a 6yd chip for eagle, leaves just right edge of hole,  Kurt a 15 foot putt, slightly uphill and showing some right to left activity on the grid balls, he slips it by the hole right and both players head to 11 with birdies.   Luis' drive leaves him 163, Kurt has 167,  i decide to go with 5i steely no groove  and the ball slips by the cup and stops 11 feet past, im now gasping for air knowing this may be it, Luis runs the clock down to 40 seconds, then pinches off a tremendous ball stopping it at the 2.1 marker and near tap in birdie.      Its game over as i limp this bruised starter iron hit ball past the right edge, now with my head down  i miss the chat light where Luis has posted, "Kurt you're still up".      LOL

Congrats to Luis, the new Rio Tinto Champion!

CONGRATULATIONS TO LUIS FOR BECOMING THE RIO TINTO CHAMPIONSHIP WINNER!!!

Our second playoff of the season saw a deserving champion; taking out the win with back to back birdies using the WGT Starter Irons. There's no more fitting trophy for you than the one which follows:

Props to Johnny for this design; damn nice piece of work fella ;)
