Its Sunday 7/22 and I sit down to play my second round. Wth! It says I missed the cut because I didn't post a 2nd round score. I know the schedule says 7/21-7/22 for the second round. So what gives here? Was the second round only open for 1 day? If so why was the schedule showing 2 days?

Feel like I got the "shaft" on this one.

You had to play first round before Friday, 2nd round on Saturday, and 3rd (final) round on Sunday

There was a recent thread about the same issue. You are definitely not the first to be bitten by it.

For future reference 7/21-7/22  means to the 22nd, not thru it. The 21st begins at 12 AM and ends at 11:59:59 PM Pacific time.

     Thanks for the heads up.

Why don't they just have it posted something like:

    1st round  July 20

    2nd round July 21

    3rd round July 22

Oh yeah. That would be too easy and make too much sense.

Don't shoot the messenger but if you click on "News" at the top there, it clearly states on what day to play. (Ducks back behind bunker)

On the in game menu when joining the tournament (which is really the only place I really look) it is not clear.   But I know now for the future.    Live and learn.

Thus it reads in the tournament description, with 11:59 pm PDT being the deadline.

You may have become confused by the game client which seems to shift this into your local time, yet omitting the hour. Thus, at UTC+2 (WEDT in Germany), the third round reads "Jul 22 - Jul 23" which may read precisely as "Jul 22, 8:59 am - Jul 23, 8:59 am WEDT", 9 am here being midnight in California.

I agree, it's confusing.   Easily understandable dates and times aren't WGT's strong suit.

But, OTOH, it's been how they've always dated multi-round tourneys.  So, it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who's been paying attention.

Golf is a game that has always emphasized the responsibility of the player to understand the rules.  In real golf, you can post the best score, but if you make a mistake filling out your scorecard, you lose.

Yes it is my fault for not understanding the rules. Maybe it was because of the "one day only" 2nd and 3rd rounds. Don't recall any other tournaments I played that had this .

Really can't figure out how I've made it to level 89 without ever noticing this "The date ain't what it appears thing'.      Oh well. Live and Learn.
