I have been playing for a couple weeks now. I have bought some upgraded clubs but it doesn't seem to help. Do you have to just spend the money and get the best stuff for a hack and hope you can score well enough to move up or am I stuck in limbo. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,  Michael

25% equipment.  75% mental/strategy/technique.  Read all the tips you can.  They're all posted on this site.

Michael-It is very important to clear your Flash cache and browser cache when you buy new clubs.

Once you've done that what DMM says  is very true. You will need to learn those new clubs and they are very different from what you're used to. Stay with it, it will improve.

By your score history it shows you only play CTTH challenges! Play some stroke courses.

Go to the tab in the game window all the way to the left. Click single play and pick one of the 3 courses you can do this at. Kiawah-Bethpage Black or St. Andrews. You can play ranked rounds, which is what you need to get off the hack schneid, or you can set your own practice rounds up.

Playing the same challenges over and over won't help you learn all of your clubs, just some of them. Posting ranked rounds is how you advance tiers. What DMM says applies to playing the game in stroke mode. This is where the real golfer in you has a chance to emerge. LOL-it's also when you'll learn about that putter you have. GL

equipment is important if you're in the Master Tier. In my opinion you should have been playing with the Starters and buy clubs when you're pro or smth. like that. You would have learned how to play the game with bad clubs and then make the change to good clubs

Go to the ranked unlimited play golf courses for practice. No one will care how high you score and you will be getting good practice. If you get frustrated you can always restart the game. Took me over a month to figure out what the hell I was doing:) Lotsa PRACTICE PRACTICE.

    Michael,

I have no idea how you would think you can't get your average down.  You have to play stroke play, ranked...

    1. Click PLAY NOW  (Over there <-----)
    2. Under SINGLE PLAYER GAME, click SELECT COURSE.
    3. Stroke Play is available under BETHPAGE BLACK, KIAWAH ISLAND or ST. ANDREWS, choose one.
    4. Click STROKE PLAY
    5. Choose RANKED
    6. Choose distance - Full 18, Front 9, or Back 9  (Front 9 only on St. Andrews).
    7. Click TEE OFF

If you still have problems, email your question to members@worldgolftour.com.

You can also get some ranked scores from Multi-player games, but they have to be ranked, stroke play and not match play or match play challenge.

Hope this helps... and oh yea.. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!

Good thing you laid that out for him. Somebody should have thought of that sooner.
