Gimme's for putts??

  Is there an option to allow 'gimme's' for putts that are something like 5 ft to the hole?

  Matchplay: It's possible to concede any putt from the green.

  Strokeplay: This is about to come when Tiger and his mates will be allowed gimmes.
  Honestly: It's not in the Rules of Golf, therefore it's not here.

  Nitpicking: The plural "s" will not have an apostrophe until the greengrocers become responsible for grammar.
