On a hill

    On sa #2 i hit a shot on the hill with a wedge full spin and it stopped before the flag. My putt was 12 ins downhill how goes the ball stop there?

    the cup is twelve inches below your feet....u cld still be sitting on an uphill lie....sounds to me like u hit just to the brow of the slope!  your a master, hmmm maybe there was summut up. ha

    No the ball was sitting on a downhill you could see it.

    maybe it was a piece of discarded gum...lol or a leaf! you can send in bug reports in play by right clicking, but i guess you know this!

    Chazz-It is quite possible to do that. When you hit the top of the hill to start the roll down towards the pin the backpin keeps the ball from gaining the momentum you need to finish the roll. It sounds like you found the right landing spot, just back off the spin a little and you'll be ok. Even if you roll past the hole the return putt is much easier than that downhill funride!  GL
