Mark for Julien; really odd double bogey for J on 13 which spoiled a very nice card otherwise. I couldn't sink a putt for love nor money but made up for it with a HIO ;)

Kurtsbuford has offered his services to become a designated marker to the Tour. My thanks to Kurt for this offer. If you have issues in the future, please look out for him or check in IRC to see if he's available to assist you.

    CLOSE OF PLAY

Just need a few hours to get the updates done. 99.9999% certain Luis has taken his 2nd successive win but just need to check through the scores fully.

Close of play - The Qatar Masters

A stunning -9 final round gives LuisCraveiro the win in the Qatar Masters. With Yoda stuck on a distant planet, the updates have been few and far between this week but it's fair to say that Luis is cranking up the pressure at the top of the overall standings. He's now the sole player to have featured in the top 10 every week with AllyKennedy having a surprisingly off-form week tying for 15th.

Tour legend Stevenharkin and the Swedish superstar BaaBaaBoom came in a close 2nd with final scores of -21 for the three rounds. The credit winners follow below and the tour standings page will be updated in due course. Things are now starting to take shape and it'll be an interesting few weeks before the only matchplay event of the tour starts in Week 10.

I know that people have struggled with the meter since the last WGT update. I know that it's frustrating when you can't shoot as well as you know you can (I think most people have been in this position at some stage on WGT). Try to fight through it if you can; there's nothing more rewarding that turning your game around back to the level you can perform at. Remember winners never quit and quitters never win :)

Tour standings to be updated in the next few hours.....

Points and credits have been updated in the link above (Tour standings). I still need to go through and update each player who participated in W5. I'll do this in the next 24 hours so the table is accurate.

Luis now has a 100 point lead at the top of the table and there's a 87.5 gap between 5th and 6th. With two majors in the next three weeks though, this can quickly change with a few strong results for a player further down the leaderboard.

    Cheers
