This is not for the serious gamer out here but us part timers. The more I play the higher up the rankings I go - and the higher up I go the harder it is to play. Obvious I know and fair so far. The problem for a part timer like me who cannot get to play 1 -2 games a day if at all my average score is going out and I seem to be getting worse. The effect is that I am no longer encouraged and therefore will not spend anymore money on upgrading equipment (have just traded in some old stuff to buy balls but will longer pay for credit). How about having an amateur ranking and a pro ranking? The Pro's get to enter the competitions etc. and us amateurs get to enjoy playing. If someone wants to turn Pro then they opt in but with the proviso that they stay there for a certain period even if they do not like it as in real life.

They are not likely going to give us an option to just choose our tier even for part time players.

One way to do it without them changing anything. That is to not play any rank rounds anymore once you get to certain tier, but then you are considered by all players as a sandbagger if you do it.

I doubt wgt would do that, and you probably won't get a lot of players to agree with it either.
