Although I,m a Tour Pro on 68.92 and on Level 84 I,m still having great difficulty judging distances with the 3 Wood.

I either overshoot or undershoot and never seem to be able to get it spot on.

Four times I tried my Clubs CTTH tournament on Royal St.Georges betweene yesterday and today and my scores were horrendous.

Mainly due to the first hole being 211yards (or thereabouts I think) with the wind and slightly downhill. Three times I overshot and once was well under.I,m talking approx 100 ft over or under.

I know practice is the real answer but no matter how I play them as I say I just can,t get the shot right.

Is there a formula of some kind for measuring up this shot?

    All advice gratefully accepted.

    Thanks.
