No I have no problem with it at all - but it should have been like the US Open with tier results rather than a free for all brawl that is obviously only going to be won by a Legend.

The word LEGEND doesn't mean "exclusively entitled to win everything at every outing". Full credit to you for having good reflexes, a non jumpy meter when it counts and a gaming mentality.

"... You have all but admitted that you can't play with us, and apparently few other non-Legends can, and yet you'd like some of the not-as-good players higher on the leaderboard?..."

Of course I can't otherwise I would be a Legend and still no good at this thing !

Be nice if I could win something but I doubt that will happen with the fluctuations in internet quality and no proper handicapping system.

Club Monthly Medals sort out the best handicap player but everyone plays from the same tees. And quite often is the poor old fella bashing his way around the course every week and off max handicap who has a good day and by virtue of his handicap manages a win that means more to him than anything ! In fact a guy in our CC off an assigned 90 handicap as he is fresh meat, has trounced everybody by having a good round and is so far in front I doubt anyone will catch him.

Isn't  is time WGT put handicapping in place to even the game out so that "some of the not-as-good players" MIGHT actually finish up there once in a while ?

This is a game for everyone, my money is the same as yours.

I don't give a stuff about Credits - run a tournament where you give me a sleeve of Callaway balls for doing well. The best part of that is it doesn;t cost WGT anything.

I'll be there with bells on. I suspect if the prize is something less important that credits - the "SYBIL Players" will pass on these matches after all once balls are in your bag you can't  do anything with them but use them yourself !

You folks can piss and moan all you want about the Kiawah Championship. Zag don't care! Zag just scored his first ever hole-in-one on the 5th in the final round ... and then ... on the 8th ... his SECOND hole-in-one!

    Zag, on Assumption Day

    I missed this Zag!!!

    Awesome!!!

The $500 gift card is plenty for a random drawing. The "not so good players" should not be in contention in a major. Just like any other sport in the world, the cream will rise.

Also, they just gave away a trip to Merion to a Tour Pro. Pretty damn sweet prize for a Tour Pro.

But then again. All that complaining your doing, it all makes sense once I look at your CC name.

    Cheer up bud.

What's the problem with the CC name ?  Not sure I follow...

As for being in contention absolutely fine - so make it a MAJOR EVENT and entry is limited to LEGEND and above.

My only request is for tiered results if it's a free for all so that it becomes horses for courses LEGENDS compete against LEGENDS and MASTERS against MASTERS etc.

I guess it already is that in a sense by default.

And what is so wrong with the suggestion of implementing handicapping ? Seems no-one up the top wants it because it creates a more ven playing field on occassion.  Time and again I have guys preach about the rules of golf and how it's in the rules yada yada yada. Maybe I am mistaken but the rules of golf also include handicapping !

You only have to look at the comments on the topic from the new Tour Legends....

I might only have 1 in a 1000 chance of winning something ?

Good Grief  the poor  thing !

I'm sure he'll need months of therapy to recover......

Welcome to everyone else's world !

I'm cheerful old chum - just peeved with the elitist attitude of many !
