    Thread for discussing/thoughts, etc...

First question. Can anybody tell if all 3 rounds will count towards winner?  Or is round 1 just for qualifying??

hmm good question JC..never thought of that. If i were to guess i'd say all 3 rounds were to count...i like the idea of giving us 2 days instead of 1 day to complete rounds 2 and 3..wasn't too keen on  the st andy's challenge we had recently were we given just the 1 day for rds 2 and 3

what a prize too..quality!! will be alot of grinding getting done if that 1st round does count :)

From the tournament rules - "The lowest 54-hole scores will be the winners of the tournament."

Hallo folks...  i decided to try a few rounds on the new Kiawah and whent for the Championship Q. round just out of morbid curiosity.  I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it!

Even though i have the G20 270y  + the rest of the G20set  which im totally happy with and manage to keep up with anyone else ( most of the time ) it was clear that its one hell of a stretch at times...  And yet i cant see how a driver that averages only 10 yards more can make such a difference.  But when you land on the fairway after a decent Tee and you`ve still got + - 260-280 yards to go ... parr becomes the target!

Played 2 rounds.. a 2 under and a parr ( and a great Eagle on the 16th)  so its possibe and i will keep practicing but i would really like to know if there are others out there with same or comparible clubs hitting under 60 on a course like that. and how?

    Cheers .

Yes there are. I havnt played the Q yet but under 60 is a good score with G20's. Kia is a long one from Legend tee's, just stick with it and learn your approaches and ball release onto greens.

I have a serious question. Are the greens "Legend Tournament" or "Regular Tournament" greens?

IMHO, the greens are more very fast than legend. they seem the speed of olympic.

Green speed seems fastish to very fast.

I think WGT have done away with tournament greens, there all painfully slow.

Or maybe i've just worn my putter out!!

Without playing another round, is there a way to determine the current cut for this tournament?
