putting aside the fact the meter is now ruined for some (me included) and the entire site has gone glitchy, could someone at WGT please put my mind at rest and let me know if the site has gone un-secure through some foul up in the update?

i'm asking as every time i logged into the game/fire up Chrome to play before, the address bar is 'green padlock' https:- www.WGT etc (please forgive my lack of PC description)

it is now just the 'this site isn't using SSL' symbol www.WGT  in other words it seems it's not using a secure connection.

very concerned over this, we've all put in payment details at some point in this game and this has DEFINITELY not been displayed like this before.

    Please advise on this guys.

    Paul

The security on the site has not changed, any payment information is sent securely and all the payment pages are SSL

thanks for replying back quicky, but if all pages are SSL why is this being displayed for me?

again, forgive me if i'm missing something, but it says, according to the icon dispalyed in the bar, this site isn't using SSL. the connection to WGT isn't encrypted and i've never visited this site before??

    hi

the www.wgt.com is not encrypted because otherwise it would load much slower.

if you click on account tab, you will notice that it's fully encrypted via https:

ok, thanks for the replies guys.

something is definitely conflicting between your updated site and Google Chrome though (at least it is for me) this whole meter thing doesn't exist on other browsers i've tried and the SSL icons that caught my eye are not the same as they were yesterday.

it's not the flash update either as i had that turned off on Chrome.

Too many people are having issues for this to be a 'it must be a fault at your computer end' scenario.

but i thank you again for the info on the security of my account :-)
