    Flash (2 files) Version: 11,3,300,268
    Shockwave Flash 11.3 r300
    Name: Shockwave Flash
    Description: Shockwave Flash 11.3 r31
    Version:

    11.3.31.222

Hello,  to anyone that is having problems with a messed up meter (mine was too fast using my irons, could not hit the ding) disable this latest version in Chrome and you will see a smooth meter again. Unfortunately it has not helped my sorry putting tho...LOL

This is a lot better and smoother now.

    Joe

P.S. the latest version (latest) is at the top of this message and should also be the first one you see on the top page when you open plugins. Just disable it. Any issues go back and enable it again. But I played a round and did not see any problems with it disabled.

    Happy Golfing!

I have a broken meter since yesterday afternoon. When I go to swing is ok then to hit the point is floating I have no control when it stops to hit the ball.   WGT has really messed up the game.I have even gone sodfar as to shut down my machine and still the problem persists.

I would like to publicly APOLOGISE to wgt for ever doubting them and say sorry if I bad mouthed you at all in the forums. I finally succumbed and downloaded Comodo Dragon and my gameing has been smooth as silk since then.

I should have listened to others before ranting away but after losing 3 nikes in the weeds on St Georges #10 (I think) its #10 in famous courses anyway, the one with the stream running across the fairway, I was a bit hot under the collar.

I promise I will never doubt you again ( til next time. he he)

Unless they state loud and clear that the game only works properly on Comodo Dragon, there is still plenty of rooms for complaints.

Sorry ICON I tried telling people its not WGT's side but they dont read very well. Oh well there is plenty enough info in the forum to help them out.
Hey,teachers pet..working before update...as was most other peoples  ergo..no update ,no problems ?  Directly or not wgt's fault..Updates should come with a warning ::'this may screw your flash up':: ' & cost ya balls' please do blah, blah after we have finished...Andy All this adobe updated too...well yes but can differentiate between the two..

actually.....it's now widely acknowledged by most browser support forums to be flash's problem.

why should wgt updates come with any warning ?.....when you have the control in your browser's settings to turn disable adobe from installing updates without your say so.

i'm far from a wgt brown noser as everyone knows but i always try to be unbiased, impartial and try not to blame those who aren't at fault.

I would say that, if it is known that a certain version, or certain versions, of Flash does not work well with WGT, then they could warn those who are about to play with any of the affected versions and point them to information that helps them to solve the problem. Not everyone is browsing through the forum before they go out to play.

It would be easy to add a javascript somewhere that check the flash player version and warn if it is a version that simply won't work.

Thing is, although Adobe might "fix" things in a future update, there will be people somewhere in the world happening to have one of the "bad" Flash versions (I am sure there is more than one) but a few weeks after the storm, this guy will not find the topics in the forum and when he post, if he posts, his problem nobody will connect it to his flash version anymore. Instead he will get the standard answer "clear you cache, try another browser".

This was apparently due to a concurrent release of a new flash version - not WGTs fault.  If you will read the threads about disabling the newest flash release inside Chrome all will again be as it should.  I also initially downloaded Comodo Dragon when Chrome wasn't working correctly and it worked fine - albeit a little slower than Chrome to me.

It's the Do Gooders that help a lot of people in this game and I don't believe myself or any others kiss w.t.g.s ass. From what I see there are those that see problems and try to help others fix them, the rest would rather bytch about them. All anyone has to do to prevent this from happening is turn off the flash auto-updates in their browser. Now you sir own a computer and computers & software foul up every now and then, so I suggest you learn a tad more about yours instead of flinging crap at those that do. I'm 64 years old and can tear mine or anyone else's apart and fix it if I have to because over the years I've taken the time to learn about them. Not saying everyone should, there are plenty that would rather pay someone like me to to fix either hardware or software in theirs. But I would suggest learning enough to fix simple things instead of calling out others that do.

Sure the game has some problems but so does every software out there otherwise there wouldn't be constant updates for various reasons. In this case it wasn't completely wgt's fault as I don't believe they were aware of the Adobe Flash concurrent update. Coupled with with AUG. 1 Chrome adding a new player called Pepper player in their new update that caused the foul up. So in reality it was Chromes fault.

If your going to cry over a couple lost balls then I think maybe you should pack it in and give it up. Besides, no one twists your arm to buy them or anything. Hell I have lost and continue to lose them and chalk it up as one of the expenses of playing. If you sir do not want to lose balls you pay for then use the unlimited's. I've have played with several people that have kicked my butt using them. Your other option is to go to one of the other online golf sites that will be happy to take your monthly fee to play and you wont buy or purchase a single ball or club.

Of course, like yours, this is just my opinion and you know the expression; opinions are like A**holes everyone's got one.
