Close of play - US Open
A Rory-esque performance by wild-child, TonyTurbo78 saw him close out a comfortable three shot win over his nearest challenger, Priestess. Tony was seen at Kiawah's clubhouse over the weekend wearing even brighter pants than his close-friend and drinking partner, John Daly. Sunglasses were at a premium as both players celebrated their respective successes long into the night.
Tony's Kiawah threads..............
A tightly bunched top 10 saw many of the WGF Tours leading players featuring prominently. A big well done to Petethepup for making the cut for the first time and being the leading non-legend for week 6. I know he's struggling with posting scorecards and disconnections but he's done everything correctly to show that he's following the rules to the letter.
My thanks to all the markers yesterday. I sent around PM's in the morning and nearly everyone replied back in a positive fashion. Whilst not everyone played an extra round, it seemed as though there was plenty of support for those who were struggling and that's meant that only a few scores didn't come through for the final round.
Tour standings to be updated in the next few hours.....
