terbal:
lot of people are saying the scores are so low they cant compete. I for one dont play enough to shoot those low scores to compete so just play now and again
Thanks for this T. Bear in mind my response is not directed at you but to this comment in general.
The whole aim of the tour is to help people improve by having the opportunity to play with some of WGT's finest players. There are many complaints in the forums saying that these people are untouchable and unapproachable. This tour is that avenue for players who want to improve to reach the level of that upper tier of player.
Beyond this, the tour costs nothing to play in beyond your time and the cost of balls. What's the difference between playing this and a standard stroke play game that many do on a daily basis?
The tour is structured also to allow for different players to win credits each week. Yes the top players are more likely to win these but there have been instances already of a wide range of players winning credits. Added to this, with five end of season tour finals this avenue gave all players a fair way to end up participating in a group of players at their own level.
I'm going to create a feedback section soon as I want to know what people are thinking. The only way running something like this can be successful is to know what people want. As I've said to others, everyone wants something different and to please everyone is always going to be very challenging.
