matchplay cheat.

  So I'm searching for a matchplay like I often do and  get paired with a fellow I never played before. We wish each other luck and proceed to hit our tee shots when all of the sudden he accuses me of being a cheat. Now I''ve come to expect anything in match play LOL but Iv'e never been called a cheat before!  So the guy says your using those balls (Gi2s) thats cheating !! Get rid of those balls or I'm not playing!! Now since when is it cheating to use equipment anybody can purchase in the proshop?? Never heard of such a bunch of crap in my life !! maybe I should get rid of my clubs too while I'm at it?  Needless to say that match didn't last long. Iv'e put up with alot of disconnects and the like and it never bothered me but that pissed me off. Had to get that off my chest.

  That sucks, but the remedy is, don't play random multi-player matches. Play multi-player rounds with your friends.

  I had a similar experience with a player, accepted the match, first hole tee's off and says, you are cheating, get rid of those clubs and balls and we can finish the match.

  Kept at him, played through 3 holes of him hitting every ball OB after 180 seconds, turns out he was 9, playing on his brothers account.  Sent a message to WGT, and they banned him until proof of age was received. 

  I recommend sending these people to WGT email, since we can't burn them here.  I did for a while keep a list of do not play on my wall of my profile as a reminder, I recently removed it because luckily I havent come across any of them in a while.

  Just my opinion Golfspieler as I to play alot of matchplay ; sounds like a head-game to simply get you off your game. Ignore the insults and comments. We all know your not cheating and so do they. Close your chat , put another "W" in your stats and say next.   :)

  I don't recall ever being accused of "cheating" in any of the random multi player games I've joined.   Though it is possible that if I came across something like that, I'd probably tell the other player of the super secret cheat code of ALT + F4.

  Which reminds me of a rather antagonistic player we had a few months.. maybe a year ago...  Been so long now I think WGT cancelled all 7 or 8 of his accounts..

  Claimed everyone using any equipment better than his was cheating...

  I wonder if this is/was the same person.

  Next time that happens, or if you get a constant chatterer, or better yet, the guy that likes to click the Send on the chat box in the middle of your swing.....; just cover up that annoying Chat option box on your screen.   I have a piece of cardboard that works very well for my laptop.     It drives them crazy.... cause they're typing away and you're just not there... works every time and it lets you concentrate on your game.      2 things will happen.... they'll stop the chatting, or just quit on you cause they realize you are not there to listen.

  Man I have been telling those players it is Ctrl+Alt+Delete....
