I have been getting nothing but bogey after bogey, because wind speed and direction isn't accurate and it's costing me good rounds.

When I have 120 yards left to a hole with a 20 mph wind blowing in my face and  hit a 9 iron, theres no way in hell the ball should be flying 20 yards over the hole, when I didn't  even nail the middle of the meter!

I've also noticed on putts that the red for downhill and blue for uphill has been off too.

The game just isn't any fun anymore because everything has been so off I don't know how to play a particular shot anymore. You're supposed to be able to get better from familiarity playing round after round, but this has been ridiculous.

And what the hell is up with the ball hitting the damned flagstick? In all my years of watching PGA golf, I can't remember ever seeing a ball bounce off a flagstick and roll 20 ft for a miss. Balls always seem to drop for the pros with the flagstick in.

I'm 2 or 3 shots off my best lately, but, unlike you, I don't have anyone to blame......

don't give me that nonsense dude. I've been playing this damned game long enough to know when things are off. I didn't start from 100 avg and bring it down to my current 73 (with starter clubs) by getting worse at the game.  When a shot is showing a quick downhill green and my ball stops dead in the middle of the "hill"...the game is off...not me.  When the shot is showing a 20mph wind blowing left and I aim far right, nail the meter only to have it go dead left anyway, the game is off...not me.

I don't blame the game for my mistakes, I blame it when the info it's giving me isn't accurate.....and the examples I just gave are examples of inaccurate info...not my lack of ability.

I'd still be averaging in the mid 90's if what's happening now had always been the way the game operated.

Not for nothing, GF, but you've been here longer than me. I would think by now you'd know what to expect from the starter clubs. C'mon, man.
