    Hey!

First of all, let me say I really don't get why people call L80+ 58 avg pros sandbaggers. I always thought the definition of sandbagging was to fool people in thinking you're worse than you actually are and you can't really do that with that avg (except in cases of dyslexia, which is no joke and I'm not making fun of it). Not tiering up is completely legit. On the other hand, I've spotted a lot of people who mix in a 9 hole round of max 90 strokes, which is deceiving and should be called sandbagging (makes the avg go up to around 66-67).

There's a very simple cure for that. Just make everyone play from the same tees in any kind of game for credits. If both players in match play have to play on the green speed corresponding to the higher tiered player, why wouldn't be the same with tees? Or simply give a choice of tees like in practice mode. The same goes for open RG's (non-tiered). I wouldn't mind losing to an "amateur" if we play under the same conditions, that would just mean he played a better round. But if he's allowed to play the same tournament with a 50-60 yards head start, that I have an issue with. How hard is it to shoot well under 60 on any course from easy tees, regardless of the wind? That's why I only played in tiered RG's, at least if you didn't win you knew it wasn't cause the other horses in the race had a half a lap head start. Same tees in all credit games would not make the ones, who don't want to tier up obsolete, but it would definitely make it pointless.

Don't kill me for thinking this way, lol

Actually not. You can play for 2 years and get really good at this game and just not play 60 ranked rounds.

Unfortunately, WGT's Leveled gear and non-Tiered gear system is fundamentally flawed. It has become political.

Those who benefit from the flaws want it to stay, those who suffer from the flaws want it to change.

And just like real life, those who designed and control the system could care less, they only care that we keep playing their game.

That's indeed a good solution as far as I can see to cure the problem. This has been already proposed sometime ago by several players (Jalabar among them).

When I first started just over 2 yrs ago, Clubs were unlocked when we got either.. promoted to a new Tier or reach a certain level within that Tier.

Most of the good Clubs were in a higher Level. This sounds similar to what we have now, but now it's more Level Based instead of Tier Based.

Wgt made the rule of hitting from different tee's so the Lower Ave players won't get smashed.

Back then also we didn't have all the Level Boosts and Drinks, so it took us ages to get anywhere and now we have the Fast Play Boosts which will make people level up even Quicker. Instead of playing a handful of games a day, you can x4 that and play heaps of games just for example.

I think make all games we play come into the equation for promotion. Might stop people playing 1000 practice games to get really good at playing and still be in a lower Tier.

XP Points is the key to unlocking anything we can get in the proshop.

My suggestion would be, make another box you have to tick to get promoted... and that is XP Points.

Now saying all that... i think we have to remember too... This game is catered for all types of people who sometimes basically like playing practice, Multi-Player and the odd Ranked Round and not really worried what Tier they are on.

It's just the People that uses that for their own advantage is what I don't like.
