    Choppography:

You have to look at both sides to get an accurate view of the putt in some cases.  However, I think it's a 'feel' thing per individual.  That said, I'm a reverse angle guy, especially when I hit the ball.  I want to watch what it does near the hole as it's dying.

I like players like you, when they're putting before me. I watch THEIR putts roll from reverse view - the last 2 or 3 ft especially.

But me? Line it up in reverse, back to normal view, make the stroke. When there is a break I like to putt into the break, that is to miss the ding slightly on the uphill side of the break. IOW, if break is left - right, just a tad early; if break is right to left, just a tad late.

If you're a 'ding is king' type of putter, then it probably doesn't make any difference because your focus is entirely on the meter itself - once you've decided on a line and speed. But for my style, putting in reverse messes with my reflexes.

I just started using the chip view as well. It has helped enormously. Each time you take your finger off the mouse button and then back on the beads all line up for the break of the green.
