According to several friends who have it, they say it is no better than the regular 3 wood.

I generally don't miss when I hit it so a 20% per cent improvement on forgiveness is gonna give me nothing for my $10.

Whaddya think. I'll be level 95 next week and had set my heart on buying it, but have second thoughts now.

john ive put mine away mate and gone back to the old 3w. way too much deviations from it tbh, ive had deviations of up to 24y on that thing and it keeps pulling left on dings. dunno wots up with it but went back to the old one and its solid.

Owning the R11s driver, and having seen the 'forgiveness'  that it delivers, I purchased the 3wd version straight away hoping it would have the same 'I hate rough' attributes.... huge disappointment. See no difference whatsoever from the original R11 3wd  - other than it seems to have a mind of it's own at times.

Certainly wouldn't recommend anyone buy it if they already have the original version.

'Not worth the 900 creds'  is spot on.
