Hello folks... does everyone have their tin foil hats ready?
One of the goals of the WGT forum is to provide a place where our community can discuss all aspects of the game, giving all types of opinions so that we may review the feedback and change the game accordingly. Everyone here is entitled to their opinion, even if the opinion is that WGT is conspiring against them.
One of the top requests we have received from our forums is to share more of the WGT prize winners. As far as the length of time it takes us to post the winners, you may be surprised to learn that this is not entirely under our control.
It may take the lucky RANDOM sweepstakes winner weeks to confirm acceptance of the prize we are offering and until they do this we can not announce a winner (obviously).
This particular subject, of how the winners are chosen, I feel could use some clarification. It is important to note that ALL of the winners we shared in this thread were chosen, at random, from a list of all entrants to their respective tournaments. This means that any entrant can win, regardless of their score, equipment or experience. There may be some way in the future for us to make this random selection more transparent to the community, but for now you will have to trust us. If it can happen to Tarheelsrule, it can happen to anyone! :)
Let us know how we can accomplish this transparency. Post your ideas/suggestions and we will review them. We will continue to announce the winners as they are confirmed. Thanks for your time and congratulations to the winners :)
