NEW WITH A FRIENDLY QUESTION

  Hello all, .

  Sawubona from beautiful Port Elizabeth S.A.

  I have a question.

  Okay, questions, and I'll ask without seeming like a complainer.

  New girl since August 16th, 2012, and I have received in excess of 50 friend invitations from guys only.

  Thank-you.

  Now.

  Where are the girls?

  I know you play here, I see your names and profiles.

  I am not against making a few of you guys friends, but there are some of you who are not making it nice for me. So be it.

  . I know that I'm new and I won't kick at clouds, but a lot of you gents need to get out more. Those of you who try to be endearing by being lewd, flaunting pro-shop gifts to attract your playthings.

  ***Probably not entirely your fault, for it looks like there are enough female profiles around that ask for exactly that and have names like "Pricklynipples", and so-on.

  (let's see, should I use my 9 iron from here, or my cat-of-nine-tails?)

  Yes, I'm under 20, and a bit of a china doll, but I am not shocked or surprised by this. To each their own, but on a GOLF GAME?
  

  Should I be surprised that there are not more women seeking centered female friends around here with some pride & grace..

  If I am going to find this place fun, at some point I'll need advice, I don't know why, but I am not able to write you or message out of my page, so It would be really nice if a few of you ladies might find me!

  I think I'm interesting, Let me jump rope and hopscotch with you girls, because I do not want to play post office here with the porn stars.

  I'm sorry your off to a bit of a shaky start, but I'm sure it will get better. I was one of the men to send you an invite to be friends but I assure you I AM a gentleman. I (and probably most of the men) sent you the invitation so that you could message me with any questions you have. Once you befriend someone, their name will appear on your  friends list and you can see if they are on (green=available for a game, red=busy but you can still send a message).

  The system has it that we can only message players that we've already made friends. We can't just message anyone or you would be bombed with messages it seems. The boys tend to fall over themselves with pretty faces on the avatar. They're stupid and many men using pictures of pretty girls take advantage of that stupidity. There's a womans only Country Club around here somewhere but I can't remember the name.

   

  Enjoy your membership if the idiots allow it and hit 'em straight. ;-)

  Welcome to the virtual world where all your fantasies and nightmares can come true simultainiously. Geesh, who would've thought? Sorry if guys hit on what they believe to be girls, but hey , that's life. Don't mean to sound sarcastic or anything, just play the game, drop the drama, pick up a wedge or a driver, and hit a few balls, you never know, you might like it.

  Hunter, sorry you have had a so far negative experience with some of the people on here, but the actions of those seem to the the rule rather than the exception.

  The only advice I could give you, you seem to have already figured out.... take your time, learn your way around, and then decide who you want to "friend".

  Hope you enjoy your WGT career.

  Some men on here seem to think it's a pornsite. Some of the things suggested to me during games have varied between disgusting and the physically impossible. I just don't understand why they flood us with friend invites when after all it is only a golf game and does it really matter what sex your opponent is as long as you have a good game. Come on guys give us a break. Oh, and welcome newbie.

  And you don't have to, Hunter. There is a way to weed out these offensive types and while it may seem like a drop in the bucket, every one you deal with is one less jerk.

  WGT takes this behavior seriously and will act on your complaint. All you need to do is when you see the offensive stuff in the chat area, hit the PRTSCR button next to the F12 key. This will copy whatever is on your screen to your clipboard. You can then paste it in a program like Paint, save it and send it off to WGT (not here in the forum) at  members@worldgolftour.com.

  Welcome to WGT  Hunter , just as in life you have to weed out ( Well to put it nicely Dumbasses ) Looked at your stats and you,re  doing far better then me when i first started.  Hit them straight and the birdies will  come .  Good luck and have fun
