  I'm saying I can stop it on any Windows system since 98 without directly editing the registry, and I'll stand by that and talk anyone through it who wants to do it.

  The internet doesn't have a danged thing to do with what runs on a system other than as one medium to get it on there to run.  

  I worked for the company that invented the Wild Weasel for the F4 Phantom.  I don't know a dam' thing about it.  I'm just seeing your non sequitur and raising you one.

  It doesn't work.

  You can go to msconfig, services.msc etc all you want. Google chrome will still update.

  The only way to stop it is by editing your registry. Good luck.

  Sorry but Bubba is right . That is exactly how I have it disabled and have zero issues.

  Or another simple way is to download the Google Update Admin tool and shut it off...Here is a site with the link to the tool and easy instructions.

  I mean, really; how hard is it?  type two words & a colon (he he; he said colon). make 2 more clicks & you're done. Just saying. 

  No not that hard , its getting in a multiplayer game and then finding out your meter is hooped , cant disable pepper flash while in a game , so i must X out , then fix , then resume game .

  My compliant is generally more towards the time its taking pepper flash to get repaired .

  Ever since WGT did their updates yesterday my game shows as a forfet. As soon as i sink my ball on the last hole it says that I forfeted my game.  Any Ideas?  Percentage rating slowely going down, not ood, not to mention Im just waisting my time playing. Any help eould be great thanks
