I was just thinking what the tiers will be next after the new "Tour Legend". the obvious would be Champion and the next would be Seniors.

Some of use will never reach that level of play, but as this is the closest to the real game through virtual play, there is one thing missing.

would it not be an idea where you can spend credits as say, champion a one off payment off balls of your choice ans unlimited.

As a senior you could ask for sponsorship from other players and the would receive a percentage of that players winnings.

for example,,,say a player entered a ready go and asked for sponsorship, he would pay a percentage of the entry fee, his winnings would then be split by the sponsors.

    just a thought

Would like to here every one else s views on future tiers

With all the complaints after tour legend was created, I doubt very much there will be more. would have to have a record average just to get to it. You do anyways for tour legend. Makes no sense to keep adding more. Those people in such a hurry to get to highest tier is like those people speeding their car to get to a red light before the other cars.

I rather enjoy the game take my time getting each tier, than getting to tour legend and have nothing to look forward too.

I don't necessarily think that the goal should always be to rise in tiers.  #1 goal should be to have fun and then competition is your thing, sure. I prefer a little of both, games with friends on skype usually come first though.

Looking at the top players very few have many friends, so it seems reasonable to presume being the best of the best is important, having something to strive to makes the game interesting, otherwise the game becomes like so many others done that been there

Your first part is not so true. I am sure they have many friends. They just don't display them here because just in case you haven't read it here the more friends you have on your list could and I am not saying it does, affect your meter.

It's the Facebook phenomenon...having countless "friends" dilutes the meaning of the word to the point that it has no real meaning.

I don't really see any more tiers in the near future in this game. As it evolves I do envision  the top players getting the opportunity to move into a growing series of tours that mimic the real life golf experience. Complete with qualifying, standards for retaining your "Tour card" and larger purses on the top tours.

Similar amateur tours without purses could be created for those who live in areas that do not allow them to win credits.

Tour tournament results could replace the Community Spotlight so the winners on the tours would be prominently displayed to the entire WGT community.

The top players are already reaching the limit of what's possible in terms of (so called) scoring averages. A 54 average, for example, is 16 to 18 under par; you just can't get much lower than that (without eagling lots of par 4s from the fairway).

What we really need is PGA & Web.com-type tours.

That's interesting. I think the new Tour Legends should be in the community spotlight. They've acheived more than anyone else through scoring when it matters. Perhaps highlighting them as they make the new Tier in the order they made it?
