quickly used "search" function, but at a glance i couldn't find anything useful ..

i basically wanna give a club member 1000 credits .. is there anyway of doing this by creating a game and forfeiting the credits to the other player by forfeiting the game ? or there some other way of getting the credits to his account ?

never done this before & i cannot find a way to create a credit match game .. pardon the ignorance, it's just a function i never used before .. don't even know if i can set up a credit match being from South Africa .. any help would be appreciated .. thx

I'd have thought that it wasn't possible, for obvious reasons. Otherwise a multi-accounter would have all his little accounts feeding his main one.

Actually you can set up a match play challenge match for up to 2000 credits if both of you are in countries or states that allow it. I didn't see South Africa on the list of countries not allowed to play match play challenges. Then all you would have to do is forfeit the match on the first tee. Or play the match and lose intentionally. The only draw back to this is that to give your friend 1000 credits the match would have to be played for 1111 credits as WGT takes 10% from each players bet as a fee. 90% of 1111 credits would be 999.9 credits so it would be almost the same as 1000.

A better and easier way to give your friend 1000 credits might be to buy a $10 Subway gift card. I checked and there are several Subway locations in South Africa so that should not be a problem. Then just tell your friend the Gift card number and he can redeem it for 1000 credits.

I stand corrected but 20% is a lot to lose, and the receiver needs to have a similar amount to that donated first. Not good.

The gift cards work well. Our club has used these before to pay off tournies.

Not true, if the game was played for 1111 the player would get 889.

To get 1000 you would need to play for 1250.

WGT take 20%. It's worded to look like 10% and catches many people out.

Don't believe me, check your account transaction history.

I've used Blitz challenge many times to transfer credits.  On a 2000 credit transfer the WGT rake is 50 credits.  If you have more time you can transfer 249 credits at a time with only a 5 credit rake.

Strange, I've checked my account histories and WGT take 10%. Chris is wrong. I dare say maths went the way of English etc and the rest of his education.
