I'm more lost than usual, what is this new "uneven lies" about?

I see no mention of it anywhere in the upcoming updates thread

    http://www.wgt.com/golfnews/

Thank you, It's no wonder then that I missed it in the Upcoming Updates Announcement Thread. Practice only for now, til they get "feedback" I think I will wait for the feed back too

Well after this great implement, that I hope it gets officially used for Legends or Tour Legends, I was getting a bit greedy and I would like to see too.

    - side spin on the ball for woods & 3,4,5 irons (at least)

    - wet & dry fairways & rough.

Yup, picky me, but "you do not ask, you do not get"

Hope it gets also implemented in the future....just to make it more realistic & challenging.

Woohoo...just played a few with the new lie feature on kiawah . Changes the game alright. Like LOLsever  said the bunker play is a bear now with that but waaay more realistic.

As far as implementation in the future why put the burden just on legends and tour legends. How about implementing it at a certain Level. That will put a kink in all Those High level Hacks, Pros & Tour Pro's games too.

Played with this feature for years in MS Links and it is more realistic for sure. Other features in that game is the ablility to open and close the club face and positioning the ball in your stance for more shot making capabilities. Which would aid this new feature greatly as well as general shots by being able to truely fade or draw the ball as well as change the ball flight. You would have to raise the timer though in order to make the varied adjustments in multi player game. Otherwise you would somhow need to give a player all of the details on their next shot in order to make adjustments during other players shots.

    One question;

Can you set this up in a country club tournament?

ermmm, I think "uneven lies" already exist...it's called VEM...so on top of that, you are sure that the "dinged" shot is never going to be that...

Game is too random...certainly won't be playing with Yikes or Ballaways, probably not even with a WGT ball...why throw money down the drain?...or the lake or "weeds" as WGT likes to call it.

Such a shame to see the game screwed up even more

    Hi all,

As mentioned in the news, this is for practice round only (for now). Our goal is to gather feedback, what works, what doesn't., what's broken, what's too strong, what's too soft and make adjustments.

I would ask that everyone who plays to give us feedback on exactly what doesn't work... Itwould be awesome if you guys could include a replay with the report.

Setting up an MP; uneven lies, Oakmont, champ tees, heavy wind. Should be fun ;)

Heh. Pulled in an unsuspecting master who didn't know what uneven lies were in. :p

At least it won't affect our stats as practice!

Ah, so much that could possibly make things exciting and interesting if they hadn't totally screwed over my 1 method of getting credits, Views. Thanks WGT. >:(

My prediction is that uneven lies, if implemented for ranked rounds at various tiers, will FORCE people to learn how to putt from 15-25 feet.  Lots more birdie putts will be from that distance or further now.
