following back to back birdies, I have 50 yds left to the pin on the next hole with a 14mph wind blowing into my face. I use my pitching wedge.......under hit the meter at about a 1/3 of the meter bar which I estimated should have gone no further than 30-35 yds tops............the ball somehow sails NINETY ONE FEET into deep fescue where I proceed to double bogey ,wiping out my 2 birdies!

Now you tell me whether I'm being paranoid or not about this game being rigged!

Even the most open minded WGT apologist can't explain away that

You should find another online golf game to play. This game is clearly not for you.

Erm, you estimate it should go 30-35 yards and it goes 30 and a foot?? Kinda sounds like your estimate was right on the nose, the ball went as far as you thought it would.

Besides, those wedges aren't linear and 1/3 of the swing doesn't get you 1/3 of the yardage anyway, especially if you didn't ding it (which I'm sure you'll probably say you did.)

    Not "away" but explaining:

You may not have hit the club you wanted, either by an unvoluntary change (1) or because the wrong one was indicated (2).

    (1) It appeared to me and to others that the selection sometimes changes on it's own. Imagine my surprise when I once hit a driver punch from 40 yds.

    (2) Some experienced that the indication in the game client differed from the selection "inside", when you open the club selection menu.

    Edit: I understood 91 yards...

why would you use the Rapture PW  which is rated 100yards and not your Ping 60 wedge with some backspin rated at 60 yards for a 50 yard shot with some headwind?

Don't blame bad club selection on WGT, it's you who is to blame on this shot NOT WGT.

i wouldnt be using a 1/3 shot gezzz , my god there must of been a closer choice..ex: clev wedge 60 yrds..turns into a 50yrd with a punch..although im with you, have had some strange yardage issues myself...i now warm up before playing scored rnds to see what yardage im getting...

edit: golf like any thing else to be perfected needs to be repetitive to the point where it becomes boring...as in real life, golf at A grade even becomes a boring repetitive thing..its the passion we have for it that makes us grow and continue to grow learning every aspect of it to become the best we can at it......but this is a pc game and all pc games are proven to faults thru the system...

Maybe he posts to the WGT Beta section and his posts always land here instead. Like the golf game, even the forums are rigged against him....  :)
