i take your point. .. i noticed the max balls were available to hack+  does that in itself not tell us something.  i am assuming that the MAX definition, is MAX profit.  dont get me wrong ,i am not against a business, promoting products.  but in this virtual world, its a bit extreme. but thats just my view.

    ON A LIGHTER NOTE

never give up,  god loves a tryer,   even moses was a basket case

Not true what you say about purchasing higher priced balls.I for one would only buy them because of videos .But since they've raised viewing times and dont pay for some views i won't any longer.

As far as making money as a business there is a ceiling for what you charge Wgt is there Plus.

Top it all off its still in beta charging prices they shouldn't.

The game was fun at one time but its a pain now.

It's absolutely true about higher priced balls. Just because they may have reached your price limit based on the way you pay for balls it doesn't mean they have reached it for others on the site. Only time will tell.

Yes. That complaint has already been registered in another thread.

I'm with my English mate, with the strange name, on this one. In fact, we're the same level, have the same outlook on the game and I agree with just about every word he has said. I especially like the bit about 'Max Profit' ! LOL

You're with your Socialist mate you mean....  I'm with my American mate.   The marketplace will determine whether or not the ball is properly priced.  If you don't like it... don't buy it.  If not enough people purchase the balls they will be forced to lower their price.  Simple free market capitalism....

The absolute WORST part of WGT is the "miracle balls". It started with the Callaway ball, and then the Nike ball rolled out. now the ultimate slap in the face to WGT players who consider the realism of the game to be its biggest attraction...the X ball.

The Callaway, Nike, and X ball make the game too easy. As if somebody who was a mediocre golfer could become a very good golfer overnight, simply by playing a premium golf ball. It just doesnt wash.

But, WGT is in the profit business and they have found the way to maximize profits with these miracle balls. The overall realism and authenticity of the product suffers as a result of these balls being made available, but I get it, money talks.

Anybody who thinks the X ball wont be hugely popular, or that players wont buy it because it is too expensive, is fooling themselves. This game is all about being better than the other guy. Budgets be damned. Americans still spend way more than they should. We are a nation obsessed with "winning" and consuming. The X ball plays right into that idea.

Laughable.. America is about innovation and competition.  That's what made our Country exceptional... reading your comment... many of us have obviously lost sight of that!

I have no qualms with the marketing department at WGT enticing people with new products and encouraging people to dip into their pockets, it's Capitalism to a tee and although some people may not agree with this sort of strategy, it's proven to be successful and has a place in society.

The only way to combat it  would be to form a WGT players union and then ballot for a strike!!

My only qualm, however, is when they tweak existing equipment (making it weaker) in order to force people into buying their more expensive products. That's not capitalism, that's just blatant exploitation and will ultimately be overstepped and induce a mass exodus from the site when it reaches breaking point.
