    Minkywinkster:

My only qualm, however, is when they tweak existing equipment (making it weaker) in order to force people into buying their more expensive products. That's not capitalism, that's just blatant exploitation and will ultimately be overstepped and induce a mass exodus from the site when it reaches breaking point.

Hass, I am not aware of WGT "tweaking" any of their equipment  to purposely make it weaker as to entice players into puchasing more expensive product.  If that is the case then I agree, they are being deceptive..... but I am not aware of this.  To be honest with you, I and others have decided to purposely stick with "weaker" equipment because we feel it performs better (Daytona Putter).

Anyone who bought the burner 2.0s when they first came out will testify that they were amazing....until the R11s came out and then they "suddenly" lost an edge to them...It happens buddy, believe you me

    Hass,

I will concede that point.  They do come out with new equipment that forces players to purchase in order to not lose their edge.  Do you blame them?

To be honest with you, if I weren't able to profit prior to the new equipment I'd be hard pressed to spend money on the new stuff....

    Hit 'em straight my friend!

I have no qualms about purchasing any equipment WGT offers that improves MY game. Just wish the MAX balls came in WHITE lol. And, yes, the REAL cost based on durability is $7.20 per sleeve. I do not subscribe to the 'loss of performance' theory on older equipment. the new balls provide R11 performance with the meter speed of g20's. They also make it easier to sink that clutch putt. 'nuff said.
