WTH are you thinking?  First you screw with the forgiveness of the clubs and now you have jacked up the relability?   When I'm losing expensive balls because my meter is 1mm past center and get a wild shot off the course it doesnt make me want to buy more.  When I'm chipping onto a green for a 12 yard shot and use a club with 16 yards, hit a perfect meter at full swing and it goes 4 yds WTH?  Your really taking the fun out of this game by lowering the relability.

Games the produce unexpected random results from player actions don't stay fun for very long.

You've played 3 ranked rounds. How about you come back when you know something?

Learn how to play before you whinge and whine that the game is against you, took me ages to learn and still far from good, but when I mess up a shot I blame myself not the game. There are so many variables in each shot - 3 ranked rounds hardly gives you the expertise to pass judgement.

I might've backed you up here a little bro but I looked at your stats. What are you thinking?

cfreukes - Having been here only a few months you need to realize that things are not as random as you think. Some "random" deviation is built in, but it's a lot greater with the lower level clubs. A shot with the deviation happening to be right of the target coupled with a late swing right of the center is going to result in a shot that is wildly right.

Chipping is highly dependent on the lie and the distance from the green when you hit it. The quality of the wedges have a tremendous amount to do with it too.

I see you play a lot of one type of game here. If you are not playing practice rounds, play them and practice things like the chipping. Learn what happens from a 20% or 40% lie anywhere from the fringe to 5 or 6 feet from the green. Sometimes a chip is not the right choice.

Since expense is a real concern, gradually build up enough credits through the free videos and offers to upgrade to name brand clubs. A good wedge or two first would be a good idea. It makes a real difference in game play.

That 12 yd chip shot was short probably because you were more than 3 yds from the green. If more than 3 yds from the edge of the green, a chip shot will not work.
