Thanks Steven; you've always got the marker / RG options available to create result without having to forfeit.

I appreciate that I'm really pushing the whole field with my timings. The simple reason is that all the events have to be finished by the time Week 14 starts. The Tour Champ Finals use the regular season qualification points to give you your end of season points total going into the final event. This won't be possible if I haven't finished off the MP event.

I pass on my apologies to those who it effects as I obviously wanted as many games to be played as possible. Liaise with Ally to try to agree on a course of action going forward.

Scorecard from my match with Carmine. He got the best of me on the last hole.

Holes 15 and 16 were pretty special. I holed from off the green on 15 to save a halve, and after my tee shot on 16 finished 2 feet away, Carmine got caught out by the wind and went beyond the pin, long and left, but he holed a super downhill swinging 16ft putt to save the halve.

One of the most spectacular matches I've ever played. Ryan played a great golf, I played beyond my ability and lucky in a couple putts just to be AS till the end :). Thank you Ryan and see u soon my friend :)

quarterfinal match with poolmaniac6, Neil jumped out to a 2 up lead and i had a lucky eagle on 5 to get to one back, Match stayed the same until 9. Lucky break for me as the ball kicked forward a little far on leaving him a ridiculous putt. I made par and we went to extras....Neil missed holing out on 2 both times we played it by inches. I was really lucky both times. Also, dealing with distractions made it tough on him. What a player though, was a very nervous match for me.

Was a very exciting match with TDHarvey.  Many well played shots - the best being TD's hole out on #5.  both of us holed some nice putts.  Wasn't comfortable with my yardage and wind on approach at #9 and was just planning on hitting the bunker and getting up and down for my par and making a birdie win the hole and push to extras.  Just had a brain fart and had too much club and ended up in a bad spot.  Well deserved win for TD and good luck next round!

Thanks to Ryan and Carmine for pushing on with their match nice and quickly.

A big congrats to TDHarvey for fighting his way through to become the first semi-finalist of The Accenture Matchplay! As is often the case with MP, you see many shocks and surprises along the way. Tom's done brilliantly to make it through a quarter of the draw that featured players such as Funkyjunkie3000 and Poolmaniac6. Excellent job Tom :)

There's only the one remaining R3 match now (AllyKennedy vs. Stevenharkin). You've got around 1.5 days to get this finished but if can get a firm time arranged for the match in the following few days, I will allow the timeframe to extend slightly as I did for Ryan vs. Luis. Let me know how you're getting on and ultimately look to use the RG method if you can't get on together.

Firstly got to say thanks to Steven for making the effort to get our game in considering he can't get much playing time at the moment. We just played it now and was 1 of those games where everything was dropping. I won 3&2.

Sorry James i forgot the card but it will show in my activity

Thanks guys for managing to get it played within the deadline. Well that's a wrap on R3 --- a day early!!!!

There's three QF's left to play and you've got until Sunday 23rd September at 8pm GMT to get them wrapped up. I'm hopeful that we could actually see the first ever early conclusion to a community MP event........kiss of death or what ;)

    Allykennedy (1) vs. Aahna (24)

    Tonyturbo78 (12) vs. Bigsaur (20)

    Demcug (3) vs. Kriztjan (11)

It could be an all English Lakes semi-final or we could see the potential for an all Italian final to still happen. Whatever the results guys, play hard and enjoy your matches.

    James
