  If you assume it doesn't affect the game play as stated by WGT, what does it save?

  Most hang time & saving is on a drive, poss 3-4 secs saved?  Less on approach shots, even less on short game shots, very little on putting.  So at the very most, I estimate a saving of less than 2 mins per 9 holes...

  That is just the 2x one.There is also a 3X and 4X so I guess if you really wanted to play fast then the 4X one that is 4.5 times as fast could save you 5 to 10 minutes or more a round.

  Tks & i'm sure that's true but saving a few mins by playing faster with the boost is useful is it?  

  You can play WGT golf a LOT faster & save a LOT more time by speeding up your shot routine without having a 'boost', just the same as you can in real golf. Using the 30 sec shot timer accomplishes that very well anyway.

  But I'll stick without it & enjoy playing normally thanks, rather than seeing a ball behaving like it's on drugs. I enjoy this game because of it's similarities to the real game, & golf takes time so for me the speed is not important.

  Within the game screen, go to Menu / Game Settings, and turn it off there.

  I too thought my ball was on drugs...but soon realized this feature does speed up the game for those who do not have a lot of time and can only play for a bit or a few holes.

  For some reason WGT decided to give away the free game boost. I forgot about it and the first drive today, I thought I muffed it. LOL 99 hits left that won't be used because I turned it off. I still don't get why they even have it.

  I second that!  The biggest pile of junk waste of time ever added on WGT.  I wouldn't use it if they paid me!

  Glad I had a free trial though; otherwise I might have been tempted to buy it out of curiosity.
