next months update..

  You need to re-think the R11s debacle wgt...seriously,I don't think I will stay here for another 6/8 months till L94..playing with inferior equipement to ppl in the same tier (& as you know, many in lower tiers)..the R11 Irons will be avaliable to me tomorrow,do I buy them if I won't be here to get full set ?? Decisions,decisions..6/8 months of spending $20+ a week (balls & comps) for the priviledge of handing over $25 after all that..I'm really not sure.??...shouldn't have been put in this position..imo..Andy

  Hang in Andy .. 

  i'm only lvl 85 now .. will likely take me another 5 or 6 mths to get to lvl90 for R11 irons .. not too worried about the R11s driver .. propably only 8-10 yds longer than G20 anyway .. although i do feel that all tools should be available to Legend tier & up ..

  those R11 irons are the ticket i think .. gonna pick ur brain once u start playin' with those

  Occasionally I switch back to my old R9, it is still a cannon and can beat the R11 in a head wind. My 403 drive was with the R9 a long time ago, the closest I have gotten with the R11 is 386. And that 403 was before the Nikes and top line Callaways.

  Just want that litte bit more forgiveness,and the way I'm spraying the ball around at the moment,I need it !! Even considered using Max Balls but the SHAME of it....will save them for 'Comps' where no-one else can see...ssssh...Andy

  You've got the RBZ driver at the moment. To be honest the G20 (L81) would be a big improvement on that.

  I see the irons as essential for stopping the ball but I'm not as bothered about upgrading the driver.

  I got to 90 yesterday - a little over a month too late. Went to the proshop to look at the greyed out R11S. I couldn't care less about the irons. The G20's are serving me well enough.

  Andy, i was thinkin' of getting the R11 driver at lvl88 also .. just to keep mtr speeds more consistent from driver to irons .. driver & lofted wedges @ 12 o'clock & irons @ 1 o'clock .. it's tough for me sometimes to go from 1pm Burners back to 11am G20 driver ..  

  just a thought .. always before i play a ranked round i go to a single hole & play it 2 or 3 times with Burner irons only ... just to dial in trigger finger .. maybe something to consider

  I really like the G20 driver even with the speed being different to the irons. Can't see my buying another driver for the sake of a few extra yards.

  Yeah Chris,to even the meter speeds out is why I got it too however the lack of forgiveness is a killer..(maybe I've been spoiled as RBZ is soo forgiving),probably just need to practice with it more?.Gave it a go on St As last night, -3 in Wind,but a couple of drives were awful...Wouldn't like to take it around Olympic or Oakie..yet.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     I play a random 3 holes,trouble is you birdie 2 of them and think "Right I'm ready"..Go to a RG and bogie the 1st.Gutted..lol..C u out there..Andy
