Okay WGT, I know that there have been many, many, many requests for this, but I think this may not have been broached before.

As WGT is a business, and ultimately it's about profit, why not go ahead and create a practice driving range, putting green, sand, rough area, etc., and charge for the privilege.

Just as there are "x" number of hits per credits spent on the putter pal, WGT could create a practice range that could be used on the same system. I know that I would gladly pay to work in a controlled environment, where I could dictate the spot that I am putting (or chipping/pitching/flopping) from over and over and over. I would also gladly pay to work on dialing in my woods and iron play and work on working them left and right.

    Just my 2¢,

    Bunny

This has been requested before. There's a reason for practice mode. Purposely hit the ball into the sand, and take notes following the result.

So, is there some reason that a practice green can't be added?

I use the practice mode to practice my shots , I purposely hit the ball in the bunker to practice sand shots , i purposely hit the ball beside the green so i can practice chipping/flopping , but i agree that a practice range would be a nice addition to the game.

None of those options let you repeat the shot over and over from the same spot. Perhaps in practice mode, they should introduce the 'mulligan' feature or if they wanted to make more money, charge credits to buy x amount of mulligans to use in practice mode i.e. 100 mulligans for 20 credits.

    MDLM21:

they should introduce the 'mulligan' feature

+1  - very good idea. Option to allow an unlimited number of mulligans as an option in single player practice mode. Extra ball usage could be enough for WGT to make money on the feature.

A driving range will not do anything for you. Why pay to hit balls down the range that won't benefit you in any way. They have Practice Mode. Choose any course and play it hole by hole. Your avatar doesn't need practice. Therefore, there is no need for a driving range.

If you want to practice bunker shots, hit the ball in the bunker on purpose.

If you want to practice putting, hit the green and develop a formula for power to distance.

If you want to get used to the meter faster, play with starter balls for a couple of rounds. Proceeding those rounds, equip your better balls, and the meter will seem like molasses.

BTW, I do agree with the Mulligan feature in Practice Mode.
